Building upon this experience, we showcase soulful African American flavors with bursting blends of Cajun and blackening spices, while infusing a variety of traditional Mexican peppers.  Our menu has been professionally designed and curated by celebrity chef,  Airis Johnson, a Food Network ‘Chopped’ Champion, and a two-time competitor.  Featured in Forbes magazine, Chef Airis lends her expertise in global cuisine and fine dining in creating an exceptional and elevated taco experience.

The journey of the taco has crossed cultural barriers to become boundless and representative of the melting pot that we call America. With its origins in Mexico, America has adopted the taco and adapted it with various cuts of beef, chicken, fish, vegetarian alternatives, fresh toppings, and infused spices that have appealed to the American palate for over 100 years.

The ‘Kinky’ in our name celebrates kinky hair while using a play on words to add tongue-in-cheek humor for taco truck fun. Our mission is to celebrate our heritage while delivering a delicious, convenient, and affordable experience to our community.  

Kinky Taco Truck will remain true to its roots in the Brooklyn area, with a focus on East New York and surrounding neighborhoods where there is a need for more quality food offerings.
